Account Suspension

Last updated: July 12, 2026. Terms and conditions under which user accounts may be suspended or terminated.

Account Suspension Policy

Just Internship strives to maintain a secure, fair, and high-quality learning platform. To protect our community and the validity of our certificate system, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate user accounts that violate our policies. This document details the grounds for suspension and how users can appeal actions.

1. Grounds for Account Suspension

An account may be suspended or permanently terminated due to the following violations:

  • Academic Dishonesty: Engaging in plagiarism, submitting copy-pasted or stolen code repositories, or sharing solutions publicly as outlined in our Academic Integrity Policy.
  • Community Conduct: Bullying, hate speech, harassment of peers or mentors, or spamming forums as outlined in our Community Guidelines.
  • Billing Abuse: Initiating fraudulent chargebacks or payment disputes with bank providers without contacting our support first.
  • System Security Violations: Attempting to hack, scrape, reverse-engineer, compromise, or bypass the security systems of the website or database APIs.
  • Account Sharing: Allowing multiple users to access the platform under a single account registration.

2. Types of Suspension

Depending on the severity of the violation, we may enforce different actions:

  • Temporary Warning/Freeze: Your account is locked for a period of time (e.g. 7 to 14 days). During this time, you cannot submit projects or access course materials, but your records remain intact.
  • Permanent Ban: Your account is permanently terminated. You will lose access to all unlocked internships, grades, and dashboard tools. Any active passes will be voided without refund, and all previously generated certificates will be permanently revoked from our verification database.

3. Investigation Process

When an account is flagged for potential violation:

  1. Our integrity team will place a temporary hold on the account while reviewing logs, code submissions, and chat history.
  2. You will receive an email notification detailing the investigation and the specific policies involved.
  3. Investigations are typically resolved within 3 business days.

4. The Appeal Procedure

If your account has been suspended or banned and you believe a mistake was made, you can appeal the decision:

  • Submit your appeal in writing to appeals@justinternship.in within 5 business days of the suspension date.
  • Provide your registered username/email, a copy of the suspension notification, and any supporting files (such as local Git commit history, IDE screenshots, or explanations) to prove your compliance.
  • Our review panel will inspect the evidence and reply with a final decision within 5 business days. The decision of the review panel is final.
