Project Submission Guidelines

Last updated: July 12, 2026. Review the technical checklist before submitting your internship projects.

Project Submission Guidelines

To maintain high standards and ensure accurate grading, all project submissions must follow strict structural and technical requirements. Read this guide carefully before submitting your project.

1. Code Repository Requirements

Your code must be hosted on a public version-control platform:

  • GitHub / GitLab / Bitbucket: We highly recommend using a public GitHub repository.
  • Repository Visibility: The repository must be public. If our reviewers cannot access the repository link, your submission will be rejected.
  • Regular Commits: Do not upload your entire project in a single commit. Show your progress by committing code regularly as you complete milestones.

2. Project Documentation (README)

Every repository must include a well-structured README.md file in the root directory. It should contain:

  • Project Title: The name of the project and description of the problem solved.
  • Tech Stack: List of programming languages, libraries, and frameworks used.
  • Features: Bullets highlighting the core features implemented.
  • Local Setup Guide: Step-by-step commands to clone, install dependencies, run, and test the project locally.
  • Live Link: A link to the live preview/deployment of the project.

3. Live Preview / Deployed URL

For frontend, full-stack, and design projects, a live preview is mandatory:

  • Hosting Platforms: You can host your projects for free on platforms like Vercel, Netlify, Render, GitHub Pages, or Railway.
  • Functionality: The live preview must be fully functional and load without console crashes or broken images.
  • For purely backend, Python, or data science tracks, a detailed demonstration video (e.g., Loom/YouTube) or a README showing sample input/output API requests (using Postman or cURL) is acceptable in place of a live site.

4. Grading & Evaluation Criteria

Our automated checker and reviewer panel evaluate submissions based on:

  1. Functional Completeness: Does the project meet all the mandatory constraints and features detailed in the briefings?
  2. Code Quality: Is the code clean, modular, and free of syntax errors or dead code?
  3. User Interface (UI/UX): For frontend projects, is the layout responsive, professional, and visually polished?
  4. Documentation: Is the setup guide in the README complete and easy to follow?

5. Resubmissions

If your project is rejected due to errors, bugs, or missing features, you will receive email feedback. You are permitted up to 3 resubmissions per internship to fix issues and successfully earn your certificate.
