Internship Guidelines

Welcome to your virtual internship! Just Internship is designed to give you practical, industry-aligned experience. These guidelines outline your responsibilities, the internship structure, and tips for successfully completing your tasks.

1. Self-Paced Structure & Timeline

Our internships are designed to fit your busy schedule:

  • Standard Duration: Most internships are designed to be completed in 7 days. Advanced tracks may take up to 10 days.
  • Flexible Pacing: Although we recommend a daily milestone schedule, you can work at your own pace and submit your project early or request an extension if you need more time.
  • Access: Once you activate an internship, you will have access to all task briefings, assets, and submission forms.

2. Step-by-Step Internship Workflow

To complete your internship, follow this workflow:

  1. Read the Briefings: Go through the documentation, instructions, and task constraints for your selected track.
  2. Set Up Your Environment: Initialize your local environment, install dependencies, and create a dedicated Git repository.
  3. Build & Test: Develop your solution step-by-step, ensuring you fulfill the specifications and test your code locally.
  4. Commit Code: Push your code commits regularly to your GitHub repository (this helps demonstrate your progress and coding habits).
  5. Submit the Project: Submit your completed repository link and deployment URL (if applicable) through the student dashboard.

3. Communication & Support

We want you to succeed. If you run into technical bugs or blockers:

  • Check the **Help & FAQ** section first to see if your issue has a common solution.
  • Utilize the discussion boards or support desk available in your dashboard to connect with mentors and peers.
  • For account, billing, or certificate issues, email our helpdesk at justinternship.support@gmail.com.

4. Professionalism and Conduct

Even though these internships are virtual and remote, you are expected to maintain professional standards:

  • Write clean, well-commented code, and keep a clean Git commit history.
  • Provide a structured README.md in your repository detailing the project, setup commands, and technologies used.
  • Communicate respectfully in any community spaces or discussion forums.

5. Timeline Extensions

If you require more time to complete your internship due to academic exams, health issues, or personal emergencies, you can request a timeline extension from your student dashboard. Extensions are granted automatically for up to 7 additional days.
